Vouchers, bundles, and where to buy
- Buy vouchers from the official CompTIA store (or bundled with training). Prices vary by exam, and A+ is sold per core—you need both Core 1 and Core 2.
- Bundles with a retake voucher cost a little more and often pay for themselves.
- Vouchers expire, typically about a year out—don’t buy until prep is underway.
Booking the appointment
- Create a Pearson VUE account and pick delivery: a test center, or online via OnVUE.
- For online exams, run the system test in advance and plan for a quiet, private room, a webcam room-scan, and a cleared desk.
- Reschedule windows close about 24 hours before the appointment—after that the fee is spent.
